    FAQS

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    • This is some text inside of a div block.

What happens after an arrest in Cedar Park?

Once you’re arrested, you’ll be taken to the Williamson County Jail in Georgetown for booking. After that, a magistrate will set bail. It’s important to get a lawyer in your corner as soon as possible to help with bail and early case strategy.

How strict are Cedar Park police on DWI arrests?

Cedar Park officers are known for taking a firm approach to suspected DWI cases, especially at night and on weekends. They actively participate in “No Refusal” initiatives, which means if you refuse a breath test, they’ll often seek a warrant for a blood draw.

Do I need a lawyer for a misdemeanor charge in Cedar Park?

Absolutely. Even a misdemeanor in Cedar Park can mean jail time, fines, and a permanent criminal record. An experienced defense lawyer can help you avoid the harshest penalties and work toward keeping your record clean.
